The SAICSIT conference package includes the following:

• Access to all conference presentations from 15 to 17 July 2024
• Daily lunch and tea catering
• Access to the cocktail evening (welcoming function) on the 15^th of July
• Access go the conference banquet on the 16^th of July

The registration fees for the conference are as follows:

Reduced conference fees will be awarded at the discretion of the organising committee. Students currently registered for a postgraduate degree will be considered for reduced fees based on the following criteria:

• Funding is limited to students who submit a full paper or a work-in-progress paper for the conference.
• Currently there is funding to provide reduced fees for 40 students. This number may vary.
• Students who have full papers accepted for the conference will be given priority over students presenting work-in-progress papers at the Masters and Doctoral Symposium.
• Funding will be distributed equally amongst students from the various higher education institutions of South Africa to ensure a fair representation of all institutions at the conference.
• All accepted full papers must be accompanied by at least one normal author registration, i.e. a student author will only be considered for the reduced fee if at least one of the co-authors of the paper pays the full conference fee.
• Students who receive reduced fees are expected to attend all three days of the conference (which includes the Masters and Doctoral Symposium which will be held on the first day of the conference).

Students who wish to apply for reduced rates can apply using the link below. Applicants will be notified via email on whether their application was successful, whereupon they should proceed to register for the conference using the normal registration link.

Cancellation Policy:

• Before 1 June 2024: No cancellation fee
• Before 15 June 2024: 20% cancellation fee payable
• Before 1 July 2024: 50% cancellation fee payable
• After 1 July 2024: 100% cancellation fee payable
